Belief and Vision
We believe that our existence as a church is to glorify God and to establish a loving community of people who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through worship, prayer, Bible study and friendship empowered by the Holy Spirit we seek to grow in the understanding of God’s ways. We also endeavour to experience His love and to respond by serving the community in which we live.
Meet Our Team
Our current pastor is Rev Richard Asante, who leads the church with a team of staff and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds. As a Baptist church we believe all members within the church fellowship are to have an equal voice in the governance of the church, so we welcome and encourage everyone to get involved with church life.
Our History
Surbiton New Life Baptist Church was formed in June 2010 by joining two Baptist Churches in Surbiton together, one in Langley Road and one in Balaclava Road.
